Following allegations that controversial lawyer Mr Festus Keyamo SAN is being paid by the NNPC to serve as spokesperson for President Muhammadu Buhari's campaign, the Leadership Newspaper has asserted that it would provide proof on Saturday.



The Leadership Newspaper made the assertion via a tweet on Friday. See tweet below:

It would be recalled that the erstwhile peoples' advocate had denied the allegations insisting that he works probono for Mr Buhari and the APC.

One wonders, if the allegation is true, why a state agency should be paying for the campaigns of a presidential candidate. So much more for a regime built on the foundations of anticorruption and integrity and one that is trying others for using state funds for their campaigns.
