Very often, during pre-flight formalities, safety measures are rehearsed before departures but do passengers pay attention at all?
On Tuesday, the Southwest Airlines Flight 1380 lost one of its engines and had a window blown open. This resulted in low air pressure in the cabin. This in turn led to oxygen masks dropping down for use by passengers. From the pictures seen so far, many passengers do not really pay attention to safety instructions.
Flight 1380 was flying at 30,000 feet from New York to Dallas when the unfortunate incident happened. A female passenger seated by the broken window is reported to have died after she was nearly sucked out of the window.
