The founder of the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, Dr Mo Ibrahim has decried rhe situation where Africa is plagued by old leaders despite being a continent with more of young people. He made this statement in an event organised by his foundation and monitored by NAiRA CHRONICLES.
Dr Ibrahim wonders why the US with an economy larger than the whole of Africa can entrust leadership to young leaders and Africa still does not trust her youth. He mentioned that Obama, an African American became president of the US at 47, Bill Clinton at 46.
