The Ikeja branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has issued an ultimatum to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to reverse the new Lagos State Land Use Tax (hell tax) by 13th March 2018 or face protest actions.
It would be recalled that the Lagos State Government a few weeks ago increased Land Use Charge by as much as 400 percent.
The Ikeja Branch chairman of the NBA told newsmen on Wednesday that protest will start from the NBA secretariat in Ikeja down to the seat of power in Alausa in a march that has been tagged "Hell Tax Must Go."
