PRESIDENT BUHARI TO VISIT NASARAWA STATE ON TUESDAY

The President and Commander in chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is slated to visit the middle-belt state of Nasarawa on Tuesday.



According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Nasarawa State Governor, Mr Musa Elayo, the state government has concluded the arrangements to receive Mr President in Lafiya on Tuesday. As part of activities marking the one day state visit, President Buhari is scheduled to commission a special school for the deaf, the Karu International Market, a 330KVA power station and Pilots Comprehensive Primary Healthcare Centre in Lafiya city.

The statement notes that the media will be allowed to cover the event  and calls for support in welcoming Mr President.

However, political analysts are concerned that Mr President is yet visit Benue State where over 70 lives were lost as a result of the onslaught of Fulani herdsmen in nearby Benue State.
