DELE AJIBOYE WAS BETTER THAN MANCHESTER UNITED'S DE GEA IN 2007

Nigerian goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye on Wednesday was the man of the match in the semi-final match between the Falcons of Sudan and the home based Super Eagles of Nigeria in the on-going CHAN tournament in Morocco. Ajiboye who started out as the reserve goal keeper, came on as a first half substitute for the injured first choice Ezenwa. It is worthy to note that Ajiboye's heroics saved Nigeria as made save after save.

Dele Ajiboye
Goal keeper Ajiboye was Nigeria's first choice goalie at the under 17 world cup in 2007 hosted by Korea Republic. He played for Nigeria in the final against Spain. The winner emerged after a penalty shoot out. While Ajiboye made two saves that night, De Gea made no saves for Spain. Ajiboye was the match winner for Nigeria.

While De Gea is today regarded as one of the best in the world and plays for a big club, Manchester United, Ajiboye plays for Plateau United. Ajiboye has what it takes to perform at the world stage if given the right opportunity. There is no doubt that he will be among to contingent to Russia in the Summer.
