STRANGER THAN FICTION: CONTAINER WITH MILITARY HARDWARE DISAPPEARS FROM APAPA PORT

As strange as it is, a 14-foot container containing military uniforms and hardware has reportedly disappeared from the Apapa Port in Lagos-Nigeria. Vanguard Newspaper reports that the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Celestine Okoye on Monday directed his detectives to trace the location of the missing container and arrest both the importer and other persons associated with importation of the container within 24 hours.

According to Vanguard, the container is loaded with military camouflage uniforms and other dangerous items passed through the terminal operation at the Port last Friday but all efforts to block it by the police detectives acting on intelligence information failed.
