A NIGERIAN CITIZEN IN THE DIASPORA WRITES PRESIDENT BUHARI

Steve Omo Azugbene
A Nigerian citizen resident in Germany has taken to his Facebook page to write the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to consider the plight of Nigerian citizens who are presently feeling the brunt of economic hardship especially in this period of the yuletide.

These are his words:

Dear Mr President let's take a walk together in the street of Nigeria tonight,
Let us pretend you are an ordinary person like me.

Leave the tinted armoured car that does not allow you to see the masses very well .
Leave the Jet for now the problem is not in the air but in the Land.

If you can walk with me Mr president let us take the open roof jeep you use for your campaign and let us begin by saying sai Buhari.

Mr President let us talk honestly with one another , I love you so much and I believe so much in your Era of Idiagbon Buhari regime.

Sir are you the same Buhari that rule with Idiagbon.

How do you feel when you see the endless que in our filling stations. How do you go to bed when you know that those who voted for you are outside there without a shelter? How do you go to bed and close your eyes to sleep when those you are leading are not getting their monthly salary? How do you feel Mr president when those who say you are their saviour are now saying you are their worst enemy
Mr president what do you pray for before you sleep at night?

Mr President how do you feel that your children are abroad studying when others born in the same way are in IDF? Mr President when you look at yourself in the mirror what do you see? Are you really proud of your face?

The economic situation in the world is hard but should we die before you fulfil your promise?
How do you sleep when the rest of us cry?  How do you look at your wife when mothers have no time to say goodbye to their children?

How do you sleep when you and only those who eat with you sleep with light?
Sir do you know that with the serious scarcity of fuel the hospital can no longer perform operations because there is no light and No fuel.

Can you really honestly look me in the face and say Sai Buhari again.?? please Mr president take a walk in the street and see what Nigeria have turn into!!
